We know the first part of the trail better than anyone and offer a no-fuss service. We will book your overnight stays for you in
good-quality bed and breakfast accommodation with en-suite (or own use) facilities and move your luggage along the route.
The first days walk is the eight and a half miles (14km) from Brighton to Lewes. The next five days are between 11 and 12.5 miles (18 and 20 km) long.
The overnight stops are in towns and villages where there is always a choice of pubs and restaurants to eat at in the evening and shops where you can buy your picnic lunch for the following day.
If you want to stay and enjoy a day in Greenwich, we can easily arrange another night’s accommodation.
The 2012 price, based on two people sharing a room, is £360 per person. This includes five nights bed and breakfast accommodation, all luggage transfers, a copy of the easy to follow guidebook and a comprehensive information pack. Depending on room availability and time of year, a small supplementary charge may have to be made.

"I have walked many of the region’s long-distance paths – North Downs, South Downs, Greensand, Vanguard and others – but few have given me so much pleasure as the GMT. Your book is perfect, both as a route guide and for its interesting information."
